Personal interviews
Personal Interviews (CAPI)
Personal interviews, or face-2-face interviews, are often the preferred method, when it is important for the respondent to be able to taste or touch a product. It is often used for taste tests to better understand consumer demand before releasing a new product. Personal interviews can also be used for location specific surveys, e.g. measuring customer satisfaction after leaving a supermarket or testing if consumers have noticed an outdoor advertisement.
In essence, personal interviews can be conducted anywhere – on the street, in a shopping centre, in the home or workplace of the respondent or in one of our dedicated test facilities. We have test facilities centrally located in major cities across the countries where we are established. Additionally, we have arrangements with a number of major shopping centres as well as interviewers in regions where we do not have an office. This setup enables us to do personal interviews even across regions where we do not necessarily have a local presence.
Our personal interviewers have to complete an introductory training course before we send them into the field. Many of our personal interviewers have years of experience from the market research industry.
